Hi, I’m Lis Roldan, a tattoo artist with a passion for creating meaningful and transformative designs. I was born in the beautiful country of Colombia, and now call Madrid, Spain, my home. For me, tattooing is more than just art—it’s a way to honor personal stories, celebrate growth, and help people express their true selves.
I’ve been tattooing for over 13 years, and my style is deeply inspired by nature and the resilience of the human spirit. I love working with flowing lines and botanical elements, blending intricate details with designs that carry deep meaning. Each tattoo I create is a collaboration—a way to turn your story or vision into something timeless and beautiful.
As a traveling tattoo artist, I feel lucky to work in some of the most inspiring places across Europe and the Dutch Caribbean. This experience allows me to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures, bringing their unique stories to life through my art.
My journey into tattooing started from a place of healing. Over the years, I’ve discovered that tattoos can be powerful tools for transformation, self-expression, and empowerment. I feel incredibly grateful to have connected with clients from all over the world—people who trust me to bring their stories to life through my art.
Along the way, I’ve also had the chance to deepen my creative process. I hold a master’s degree in illustration, which has helped me refine my artistic vision and bring even more intention to my work. My personal healing practices — including yoga, meditation, ancestral medicines, and running — keep me grounded and inspired. They not only nourish my creativity, but also allow me to hold space with presence and care for each client and their journey. This helps me create designs that are not only meaningful, but also part of a shared and transformative experience.
